Mitt Romney's bid for the White House is over. And in his announcement that he was quitting, Romney gave us a glimpse of what certainly be the GOP's game plan in the run-up to November.
In a nutshell, it boils down to this: if Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama win, then the U.S. will "surrender to terror."
"Frankly, I'd be making it easier for Senator Clinton or Obama to win" if he stayed in the race, Romney said. "I simply cannot let my campaign be a part of aiding a surrender to terror."
George W. Bush has spent the past 6 years trying to convince America that Iraq was somehow connected to the 9/11 terror attacks. And it's clear that the GOP will continue this theme, in increasingly alarmist tones, as it seeks to retain the White House.
During his bid for the White House, Romney deflected criticism over the fact that none of his five sons was serving in Iraq by saying that they still were serving the nation by supporting his campaign.
Now Romney's campaign is over. So when will any of his sons serve in Iraq? Romney ought to sit down and talk to his sons about the real meaning of patriotism, instead of engaging in fear-mongering and lying to the nation that a Dem win in November will somehow lead to a "surrender to terror."

Thankfully there are still a few out there with courage.
Hillary said in a speech on Tuesday night that the terrorists had until January 20th, of 09, and no longer to hold out.
She made her position clear. A vote for dems clearly is a surrender.
It is amazing how the GOP would have us believe that even voting against them helps the terrorists. So, to get this straight, I can't vote, buy weed, not go shopping, or disagree with anything Faux News says without helping the terrorists.
Wow, no wonder we're doing so poorly over there...
Hi Hiram: instead of regurgitating Rush Limbaugh talking points, how about elaborating on the comment:
"A vote for dems clearly is a surrender."
Hi Carrie, thanks for stopping by.

I think it's safe to say that we're going to be hearing a great deal of this "Vote for the Dems and die!" BS from the GOP between now and November.
The Pendagon announced today that because of the war in Iraq and Afghanstan has strained our military to the limit and because of that, they don't have the resources to respond to any new threats and crisis's. In other words people, ur Republican's immoral policies has laid us wide open to any country big enough and greedy enough to want to take us. Your Republicans did that. ThXs alot for nothing....all of you put us right in the line of fire. You better pray there is an end to the world before any country wants to plunder and pillage us or we will all wish we were dead....
If Willard had been capable of uttering anything other than fear mongering he may have stood a chance. It is comforting to know that Amrerica has rejected what is reported to be the base of conservative thinking. They have rode roughshod over this country for too long and look at the condition of our nation as a result. It realloy is time for change...and not McCain-Bush-lite change either.
Is it ducktape time again?
LOL!
